Are you an experienced sales professional with a keen knowledge of software systems, coupled with some retail know-how? Want to work for a progressive company selling a leading-edge product?
Retail Smart are a fast-growing software business who have designed and developed an advanced, intuitive retail planning software, Scorpion. This Planogram tool enables our clients to elegantly present their products to their own customers. We are looking for an experienced software sales executive, preferably already operating in the retail world. You will proactively respond to sales enquiries, demonstrating your understanding of our customer’s needs and matching your detailed knowledge of our products to fully engage and sell to buyers. You will comfortably build relationships, creating your own lead pipeline converting sales leads to paying clients. Part of the role will include preparing proposals using agreed pricing and contract.
About you
Passionate about sales, you will be motivated by a desire to achieve and exceed targets We are looking for significant demonstrable experience of selling software solutions. Ideally you will also have some retail experience and if you have worked with retail planning software previously this will be a distinct advantage. You will be a great communicator, able to build effective relationships both with customers and our internal technical and marketing teams. You will be highly organised and able work flexibly to tight deadlines as part of a small team.
Benefits
As well as a basic salary, we offer an uncapped package with a realistic earning potential of £60,000 OTE per annum. The position is based remotely with flexible working hours (normally 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday, subject to sales meetings.)
Our friendly team operates on a level playing field, without hierarchy, focusing on being good colleagues in a relaxed working environment. We get together in person every few months and meet online on a daily basis. We have been working from home for years before the pandemic and have had great success in this approach for our team.
