This position is to be part of the manufacturing management team bringing your expertise and strategic thinking to running a production environment that supports customers across a wide variety of industries. Within your areas you will be working with your production team leaders and other functions in the business to meet customer delivery dates and ensure a smooth production schedule. We want you to take ownership and grow and develop the teams under you because the excellence of our manufacturing teams and processes is at the heart of what we do.
You’ll constantly be looking at not just the short term points, but also apply your strategic thinking to the medium- and longer-term planning of production in your area.
You will need to be rigorously devoted to execution, conscientious, organised and proactive, with an absolute commitment to delivering a high-quality service to our customers. You will need great people-management skills and the ability to communicate clearly across functions and work with them to deliver. Familiarity with tools like 5S, the ability to see, understand and solve problems and attention to detail are all going to be vital to your success.
