Job description – Personal Assistant
Appetite Me is the leading developer of farm shops, restaurants and cafes working with country estates, farmers, landowners, and garden centres. We are based near Bury St Edmunds, at Ixworth Thorpe, and our offices are on a farm in a converted barn, the perfect environment for our business. We are currently working with some of the most prestigious country estates and farming groups in the country right now, developing fantastic diversification projects.
We are now looking for a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to aid in the operational and strategic planning for the business.
The role will include:
Helping The MD And Business Development team approach and engage with new clients.
· Having a confident presenting manner is essential as you will be dealing with our clients and suppliers
· Ability to be highly organised and multitask is essential
· General office duties, creating documents (an excellent knowledge of Microsoft is essential, as well as a sound knowledge of Google suite),
· Have a confident telephone manner; you will need to be able to make telephone calls on behalf of the MD to clients and suppliers.
· Diary management, note taking and further actioning of those notes
· Sourcing research data for our projects and feasibility studies and then being able to present this information concisely
· Help organise Gantt charts to keep our projects running smoothly and on time
· Sending emails and keeping the business CRM system updated
· A keen eye for attention to detail is a must, with a sound knowledge of the English language, as proofreading documentation will be needed
· Client site visits throughout the country will be a frequent occurrence, so being able to travel and accompany the MD is essential
The ideal candidates will have a confident, bubbly, and outgoing nature. With a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
This position is four days a week and is office based with some travel.
Having transport is essential due to the location of the office.
