About the role
Guinness Homes is growing, and our development portfolio has never been stronger. We’re incredibly proud of the outstanding new build developments we will shortly begin marketing and have an exciting 18month fixed-term contract opportunity for an ambitious Sales Consultant based in Southend to secure reservations, exchanges and completions at our Meadow Grange development.

You will receive a basic salary of £35,041 per annum with on-target earnings of up to £49,408. We pay our bonus payments monthly for exchanges/completions and quarterly for reservations.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll run and maintain the Marketing and Sales Suite on site to the highest standard, welcoming all visitors and managing viewings. You’ll also work closely with all members of the sales team to ensure smooth and swift progression from reservation to exchange and completion - including weekly contact calls with each customer.

What we’re looking for
You’ll not only be an experienced Sales Consultant, but you’ll have great sales and customer engagement skills and will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in the Residential New Build Property Sector in a front-line customer facing sales role.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Working knowledge of IT systems and ability to use dedicated CRM.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience of New Build Residential Property sales.
- Ability to produce accurate, clear and concise reports.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and planning own workloads.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
- Full UK drivers license and use of your own vehicle – Mileage expenses are paid at 45p a mile
Essential Qualifications:
- Educated to A level or equivalent
Your normal working week is Thursday to Monday inclusive. In every four week period you will not be required to work two Sundays. On the weeks that you do not work a Sunday you will be required to work either a Tuesday or Wednesday during that shift week.
