City Cabs is the largest Taxi company in Edinburgh. We are looking to continue our success through the acquisition of new contract customers, hotels, restaurants, and other businesses in the city.
The role:
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our ambitious team. This is a great opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing business. You'll be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers in Edinburgh, improving existing relationships and identifying ways to continue our growth. This is an excellent role for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who enjoys engaging with customers and nurturing relationships.
What you will be doing:
Developing strong client relationships, understanding customer business requirements and exceeding customer expectations. Taking a lead role in responding to requests from clients for contract renewals and tendering for transport contracts. Identify, prospect, pitch, and close new business accounts across Edinburgh in a methodical and structured way. Demonstrate our services and technology to prospects, oversee the on-boarding process to ensure it is as seamless as possible, and maintain these customer connections long term. You will have the opportunity to attend events and open days to promote City Cabs across the city.
Required Skills:
Previous experience in a sales role working in the business to business sector would be an advantage. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and organise tasks to meet deadlines. Be comfortable with targeting new business. Have great communication skills whether it be face to face, through phone or email, and be able to persuasively demonstrate the benefits of City Cabs.
