Overview
2Fawcett are recruiting for a Logistics Associate to join an expanding logistics team within a global manufacturing company located in Chesterfield on a full time, permanent basis.
As the Logistics Associate you will be responsible for the planning of material deliveries to customers, and material movement to the factories worldwide.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Logistics Associate
- General Logistical Support
- Create Driver Report and Producing Picking Lists Using In House CRM Software
- Liaising with HGV drivers regarding vehicle documentation
- Order Scheduling
- Support Administration to Planners, Warehouse Operatives and Schedulers
- Ensure all Outbound paperwork is accurately recorded onto the MWS system, provided within a timely manner, and filed.
Requirements of the Logistics Associate
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Preferred transport planning background but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft office and IT Literate
- Team Player
- Logical Mindset
- Some knowledge of all relevant legislation and compliance
