Line Cook

Salary: £10.18 per hour (age 18-22), £10.42 per hour (age 23+)
Contract Type: Seasonal (May to November)
Hours: Full and part time positions available. Hours of working can be between 8am and 11pm. Our restaurants are open 7 days per week. Enquire for more details.

About the Role: Our Line Cooks help prepare meals and snacks to order throughout the day, producing consistently well presented, high quality and tasty food from our menu and special boards. They assist our Head Chef to prepare the kitchen stations ready for service, ensuring they are stocked appropriately and cleaned regularly throughout the shift. This role is key to ensuring that we can provide the quality food service that our guests expect, providing them with another option to self-catering and allowing them to spend more precious time with family and friends.
About the Person: We are looking for someone with good basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation. Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, however experience from college or experience cooking at home for your family would also be considered. You will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about food.
Above all, you will need to have the right attitude. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we expect you to do everything in your power to make their Verdant experience the absolute best it could possibly be. We don’t believe in ‘that’s not my job’ so you will need to be adaptable and flexible to help the wider park team meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
