We are growing our FutureTech team to define, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions. The Business Analyst role is responsible for end-to-end business analysis activity on projects, ranging from scoping and options definition to requirements gathering and process management and design. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the definition of detailed and comprehensive test plans, supporting the capture and resolution of issues, reviewing the success of implementations and reporting on the benefits and costs expected vs delivered.
As our Business Analyst you will:
- Own the business case creation process where key relationships with sponsors, the business, and finance are built to clearly and accurately define the value of change
- Lead and mentor the business and key stakeholders in business analysis approaches and techniques, with particular emphasis on effective process map development
- Support the development of an effective business architecture that will facilitate impact assessments of change and the adoption of new business solution and services
- Gather and refine requirements and user stories to input to the software design and development process
- Identify relevant solutions and provide appropriate recommendations
- Define testing requirements and test plans for each solution, and support the testing team to capture and resolve issues throughout
- Facilitate project and business workshops and discovery activities
- Review the success of implemented solutions, capturing learnings and further requirements, and reporting on the benefits and costs expected vs delivered
- Provide supportive line management, holding regular constructive one to ones, empowering individuals by recognising achievements, encouraging feedback and effective delegation whilst also being able to hold difficult conversations
- Actively support and participate in company initiatives, events and socials.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies in own area of responsibility
The successful candidate will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude where everything is possible
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack
- Experience of working to an AGILE methodology
- Experienced in a range of process mapping software
- Exposure to application development through low code / no code development tools such as Power Apps
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment where progress is celebrated and blockers are addressed in an equal and consistent way
- An eagerness to develop and learn new skills using self taught courses, to continually evolve with our fast moving business' needs
- Experience working within a Professional Services business is preferred
- Continuous Improvement experience is highly desirable
- Prior exposure to Workday (system) would be highly advantageous
