Role summary
In our global Supply Chain Organization, the buyer is the leading interface between the buying market and the Product Center.
Acting as the first point of contact, they manage relationships with external and internal partners, as they efficiently co-ordinate information flow.
The buyer will manage the relationship with the external suppliers on a daily basis and ensure material availability for the Cambourne Volume Manufacturing Plant.
Through value adding initiatives, the buyer will actively contribute to quality improvement, cost reduction and increase in supplier performance.
For this temporary assignment, we are looking for an administrative coordinator to support the buying team highly efficiently.
Key responsibilities

Efficiently track the order confirmation and scheduling of purchase orders.

Accurately administrate data in SAP and always ensure the perfect quality of information.

Prepare and maintain tracking tools and documents.

Escalation management where required.

Practical Requirements
This job may involve periodic travel and visits to customer sites.
Performance Measures
Annual appraisals to be undertaken by the Head of Supply Chain Management Electron Microscopy and objectives set for the forthcoming year.

Skills and experience

Advanced knowledge in SAP.

Highly organized, disciplined, and reliable individual.

Team player with good communication skills.

Excellent in managing large amounts of data and frequently updating information.

Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office package, especially Microsoft Excel.
