STORE MANAGER
Bean Coffee
Exciting opportunity – Wythenshawe area.
With 18 outlets across Liverpool and Manchester, Bean is a privately-owned coffee shop group with a focus on quality and people. We have our own Roastery and kitchen in Liverpool where all our products are made daily for our shops, which are all located in premium office locations.
We are looking for an experienced and confident leader from a hospitality background to manage one of our key stores in Greater Manchester.
The successful candidate
- Has a sound knowledge of the coffee industry and a passion for standards
- Is a people person and can communicate effectively at all levels
- Has great business acumen, making sound decisions, adapting their approach to the needs of the business at any given time
- Has experience in a similar role with transferrable skills
- Has exceptional organisational skills
- Can remain professional always
- Will have a good knowledge of stock control, epos software and the need for financial accountability
- Has a passion for food and drink
- Can inspire and lead a team from the front, encouraging a fun yet professional workplace
- Should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
The Role
- Look after the day to day running of a busy store with multiple sections.
- Manage and develop a team, delivering appropriate training, coaching and HR support
- Ensure Coffee is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining latte art and exceptional Espresso.
- Lead the preparation of high quality food, adhering to food safety legislation always.
- Cash handling and controls
- Stock ordering, controls and management.
