Requirements of the Reception role
- Well presentable for front of house
- Warm and welcoming disposition when dealing with guests or members of the spa.
- Great interpersonal skills
- Experience using hotel booking systems.
- Experience of doing social media posts for businesses.
- Hands on approach with a can-do attitude
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Full-time role - 40/48hrs per week (this can be negotiated if you'd like to apply on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities of the Reception Role
- First impressions is everything - Being presentable and greeting every guest at the hotel in a very warm and welcoming manner consistently.
- Ensuring the reception desk is always clean and all paperwork filed away correctly.
- Answering telephone for hotel enquiries.
- Managing the booking system.
- Social media posts for the business.
- Help with events & weddings.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
