Job Description
Colour Sound Experiment Ltd provides lighting and video rental, design and installation for special events, launches, festivals, tours & conferences. We currently have a vacancy for a Moving Light Prep Tech to join us in our North London HQ.
Working Hours: 09:00 - 18:00, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings or weekends required
Salary: £25,000-30,000 per annum, plus overtime pro rata (salary negotiable for the right candidate)
Holidays: 28 days per year including bank holidays
Responsibilities:
- To clean, prepare & maintain lighting equipment for hire
- Assist with minor and routine repairs
- Physically inspect equipment for damage upon return from use in the field
- To assist with truck loading/unloading
- To clean & prepare flight cases
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean & clear
- Assist others with ad-hoc tasks, as directed by Head of Moving Lights
The successful applicant will:
- Work to a high standard with regards to quality control
- Be flexible in their approach to the work schedule
- Be a fast learner
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Be detail oriented and methodical regarding quality control procedures
- Be proactive with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to maintain a neat and orderly work area
