Fitness Retreat Coach | Etu Retreats (Workout Away)
At Workout Away, we've created luxury fitness breaks for our customers since 2018. In 2022, we launched Etu Retreats, our low-cost, high-value retreat concept aimed at adventurous explorers who put keeping active high on their list of priorities.
We're one of the only five-star rated UK fitness retreat brands offering retreats across multiple destinations, and we're now looking for UK-based fitness instructors to join our growing trainer team.
If you're a superstar instructor, travel-savvy, and love to be the life and soul of the fitness party, we want to hear from you!
As an Etu Retreats Coach, we'll fly you out to your destination and put you in fancy four-star accommodation for your trip. You will teach around two classes per day. When you're teaching classes in the sun, you'll be paid an hourly rate, and when you're not teaching, your time will be your own. You'll have all your meals paid for too!
You'll live and breathe the Etu by Workout Away brand while you're in-resort, contributing to our ongoing success as a five-star rated fitness retreat company!
You'll need to:
- Be qualified to a minimum of level 2 (either ETM, PT or gym instructor) with experience in delivering group fitness classes.
- Hold additional certifications for all class types that you teach.
- Be able to teach all class types, including HIIT, strength and yoga-inspired classes.
- Have a UK or EU passport
- Have the legal right to work in the UK or within the EU.
- Have at least 12 months of experience in the fitness industry
- Be a keen explorer with an adventurous soul!

To apply, this is what you'll need to do:
The application process is formed of four steps.
1. Candidates must submit their CV, which outlines details of their fitness experience to date and any other relevant work.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit one short two-minute video of them instructing a class that is similar to one of the Workout Away signature programmes.
3. Successful candidates will be invited to our Live Audition day on the 30th July, 2023 in London.
This is a self-employed freelance position; therefore, all income is subject to tax and NI contributions as enforced by HMRC. You will be required to produce your UTR and NI number. All payments will be paid in GBP into a UK bank account.
You must be available to attend a full day of initial training in London on 27th August, 2023.
