(Healthcare Assistant)
Job Specification and requirements:
The ideal candidates for a Healthcare Assistant role must have a caring nature, compassionate, and have excellent communication skills. HCAs should be observant, proactive, and hands-on. HCAs must be able to accurately record and report the service user’s observation findings promptly. HCAs must uphold good professional boundaries with service user’s whilst providing safe care.
Qualifications
No professional qualifications are required to apply for the role of an Healthcare assistant However, basic communication in spoken and written English Language is required. Also, appropriate training including BLS training with top-rated professionals will be provided to candidates post recruitment which will assist them to perform their roles safely and effectively. A DBS check is a requirement for recruitment.
As a Healthcare Assistant for Cresthill care Group Ltd you will be delivering personal care to each of our service users. Your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their personal hygiene. You will also be actively encouraged to make them as happy and as independent as they can possibly be, whilst remaining in their own homes. This will see you providing care, kindness and compassion to help make a difference. You will develop relationships with our service users and in many cases their relatives, which will support you in understanding their needs more accurately, which will help to develop that personal touch.
