Care experience is a real advantage, however, above all else you will need compassion, kindness and a real desire to make a difference to someone’s life. You may been a care assistant, domiciliary care assistant or have provided care for a friend or a loved one or gained great people skills in customer care or in retail.
As a live in carer your daily responsibilities may include; Assisting with personal care needs, this may include continence care, Prompting & administering medication, Meal preparation which will include cooking. Attending appointments and accessing the community with the client, encouraging independence where possible. The running of the clients home which will include light household duties such as cleaning and washing laundry.

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
