We are recruiting an accountant to join our finance team at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. You will join our team setting the annual budget, reporting variances, and helping to close the accounts.
The postholder will be comfortable providing financial assistance to non-finance professionals. This role will be focused on the area of Adult Social Care, ensuring our social workers get the information they require. You will enjoy the support of a finance business partner, as well as the wider finance team, who will ensure you are supported in gaining an understanding some of the many and varied services the Council provides. There may be some staff management of staff training for their AAT qualifications.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified of CCAB part qualified. Experience in a local government setting is desirable but not essential.
Working is a hybrid model of working in the Town Hall (Maidenhead) and from home. Although advertised as a full time post we would be open to applicants wanting to work 4 days a week.
