Job Description
A Woodside family with three energetic boys is seeking an experienced full-time housekeeper to support the daily needs of their home. We are seeking a detailed team player, where there is no job too big or small. We are also looking for someone who loves children and can help with them when needed. The housekeeper will be working closely with another housekeeper and nannies to keep the house clean and organized, along with a variety of projects. Responsibilities include daily and deep house cleaning, and laundry. The ideal candidate must speak English, have a heightened level of awareness and attention to detail attention, know how to care for couture clothing, knowledge of all fabrics and how to launder, iron, ability to handle and clean antiques and special surfaces, keep principals dressing closets organized and rotate clothing according to season. Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents. This position is for 40 hours a week with the ability to work early mornings starting at 7 am or late evenings until 8 pm. Occasional weekend work is also required. Compensation offered is depending on experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
Drop-off/Pick-up Dry Cleaning
Deep-Cleaning the home
Unpack principals suitcases after trips
Light mending of garments
Polish silver and crystal
Restocking of inventory, monthly Costco run
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of previous experience working at a large
Must have a reliable car and valid Driver’s License
Speak English and have great communication skills
Must be fit and able to lift, push and/or pull up to 30lbs
Ability to communicate with principles, guests, vendors, and staff effectively
Reliability, flexibility, organizational skills, integrity and honesty, high energy levels
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
