This is a mainly a home based role, however, you should occasionally expect to be able to travel to our office based in Sheffield on a regular basis. There is also an option to work from our offices if you prefer this to home based work.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Develop and implement high-quality user interfaces using UI, jQuery, JavaScript, and React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices
- Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and UI design
- Work with the product team to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Knowledge, skills and abilities

Expertise in UI, jQuery, JavaScript, and React
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and other front-end languages and frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
- Strong knowledge of web development best practices and standards
