Who we are…
Boston tea party began its soulful journey in the 90s as four quirky, independent cafes, then along came Sam Roberts, the CEO with a love for hospitality and a mission to prove that doing good is good for business. Sam has always challenged the norm and no more so than when challenging the industry on single use coffee cups, and helping young adults in our communities to grow and flourish in hospitality via our Foundation, that’s why everyone at Boston has the shared purpose of Making things better for our team, customers and the planet.
Boston is now 25 soulful cafes serving the best in breakfast, brunch, and lunch and our coffee is another level. We want our cafes to be the best place to work in hospitality, which means we need 25 of the best GM's to get there!
What you’ll be doing…
As General Manager you are the master of balance. Balance between your customers, your team and your community. Our cafes are firm favourites in the communities they sit in, from baby yoga, to open mic nights to turning our café in to the Hip Hop café. We are all about being the inclusive space for everyone who loves coffee and fresh food.
Your team, well that’s where it is at. You will be a hospitality champion, building confidence and careers for your team that are determined to want it. You support your café team but also your fellow GM’s through support and sharing ways of working, you ask the great questions, and always have the team, customers and planet at the centre of every decision.
We are in the business of doing good, and you and your team will always be looking for ways to do good, whether that’s community, team or customer-based ideas and innovation. You are a marketeer that is always looking for ‘what next?’ to drive your business forward.

- Tips paid fortnightly, with most earning up to 65p an hour !

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £36,000.00 per year
