An opportunity has arisen in our Mountbatten Care at Home team, and we are currently looking for part time team members.
This role offers excellent opportunity for you to develop and enhance your healthcare skills and experience within palliative and end of life care, working in patients’ own homes and the wider community.
- Part time positions of 30 hours - to be worked flexibly including weekends, bank holidays, evenings/nights
- Salary £20,270 - 21,318 (FTE) a year – Band 2 Agenda for Change pay scheme
- Permanent contracts
About the role:
You will work as part of the Mountbatten Care at Home Team who are experts in end-of-life care provision. You will be responsible for providing care and support to our patients with life limiting conditions, their families, and carers. You will work flexibly across all care services provided by Mountbatten which will involve working in patients’ own homes or other places of care.
About you:
You will ideally be qualified to Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate (or at least be willing to undertake this), and have previous care experience. The role will be part of a dedicated team of professionals and who will also be able to work under their own initiative to ensure the highest standard of care patients. A can-do attitude with strong communication skills will be required. You will need to have a full current driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes as you will be required to visit, patients, their families, and carers together with other professionals outside of the Hospice location.
