Job Description
JD Fresh Produce Ltd is an independent wholesaler of fresh produce based in Bristol Wholesale Fruit Centre. We provide fresh fruit, vegetables & salad to wholesale customers across the Southwest. Our suppliers range from local farmers to international growers and importers.
We are currently looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Director in processing daily payments and reconciliations.
Your main duties will involve:
· Processing Purchase Invoices using accounting software.
· Reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts.
· Controlling credit, sending statements and copy invoices where required
· Processing payments, receipts, and transfers onto accounting software.
· Bank and merchant accounts reconciliations.
· Providing aged debtor/creditor reports to management.
· Managing accounts inbox and daily enquiries.
Skills required:
· Competent IT and administrative skills
· High attention to accuracy and detail
· Able to work in independently and take direction
· Confident communication skills
· Knowledge of QuickBooks desirable
