We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic customer service/trade counter position for our market leading industrial distribution company in the heart of Norwich.
Our client is seeking an individual looking to enter the world of sales and customer service in a versatile and varied role within their workwear and PP division. It will be a varied role with full training that will give you exposure to everything from initial enquiry, the manufacturing process all the way through to delivery.
The main attributes we require is someone with a willingness to learn and the ability to communicate well over the phone to customers. No previous experience is necessary however experience in customer facing roles either in person or over the phone would be advantageous. Having an interest in design/art/textiles or something similar could also be advantageous.
There is also realistic opportunities for progression and personal development. This company are firm believers in developing and promoting from within for those who show the willingness and work ethic to be successful.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Inbound call handling from new and existing customers
- Taking and processing orders
- Updating customers on their order status
- Programming automated industrial sewing machine
- Involvement in design work
- Liaising with sales and transport teams

Salary ranging from £20 - £22,000 plus bonuses (DOE)
Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
