Location: Waterside House, Station Road, Irthlingborough
Rate of pay: £16,423.68 per annum pro rata (£21,702 FTE)
Hours of work: 28 hours per week
About the role
We need to recruit an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and recording of purchase ledger and be an active member of the finance team, providing a pro-active, added-value finance function to the organisation. You will reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers. Among your duties will be administering day centres charges to client, raising invoices and assisting in banking preparation and daily bank reconciliations on Sage.
About you
You will need to have a good standard of general education and proven technical accounts ability with an understanding of modern information systems and a meticulous and methodical approach to your work. We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys working until a job is completed.
Experience of monthly accounting deadlines is essential, as is experience of sales and purchase ledgers and the ability to keep good records. We are looking for someone with a methodical and logical approach who has the ability to communicate politely and calmly with all types of people.
