Trade Ivy Limited is a rapidly growing young business which designs, manufactures, and sells leading decorative lighting brands to architects, interior designers, and end customers. Our popular brands include Soho Lighting and our products have been specified in some of the UK’s most prestigious projects and homes. We are expanding our facility and looking to hire an additional full-time Warehouse & Assembly Operative to join our small, dedicated team in Par, PL24 2HY.
We need a reliable, hardworking individual who does not mind the rigours of warehouse working, where many days can be spent on your feet. The warehouse role is active and on busy days can be physically demanding, involving lifting, and working at height. You will be required to carry out general warehouse duties, picking, packing and shipping orders. You will also assist with goods in deliveries, stock takes and stock replenishment.
Organisation, speed, and accuracy are essential, so we are looking for an individual who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions, double-check their work before completing a task and report any issues.
Previous experience assembling lights, sockets or switches would be an advantage as there is the potential to develop specialist skills in this area. The development of these specialist skills, supported by training, will be rewarded with increased pay rates.
For the Warehouse Operative role we are seeking an individual who :
- Can stand/walk around all day in a warehouse
- Perform manual handling activities/working at height on occasion
- Manual dexterity
- Are computer literate, GCSE’s C or above in Maths & English
- Take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a busy committed team
