Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologists to work with local multi-disciplinary child and adolescent mental health teams (CAMHS) and the newly developed CAMHS Schools In-Reach Service in supporting early intervention and prevention by increasing emotional and mental health provision within educational and community settings across North Wales. The main focus of the role will be to support the introduction maintenance and evaluation of the Friends Resilience programmes, a cognitive-behavioural approachFriends Resilience

This post will enable the post-holder to develop a wide range of clinical, project coordination and evaluation skills. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator and data competent, with an interest in quality improvement, an understanding of child development and mental health, and a passion to support services for children, young people and their families.

You will work closely with the local CAMHS lead for early intervention and prevention, as well as with colleagues and partners in Local Authority and community settings where Friends Resilience and other early interventions are being delivered.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post
