Baggage Handler at Bristol Airport - NEW INCREASED RATES

Job Description

Optime Group in partnership with a well-known Ground Handling Company located at Bristol International Airport are looking to add to its growing team of Ramp Agents/Baggage Handlers serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.

New pay rate of £12.81 per hour!

Start Dates:

• 7th August 2023
• 4th September 2023

• Candidates will be processing customers luggage, ensuring they are loaded into the aircraft for departure and unloaded and transported to the airport on arrival.
• You will be working both airside and within the Undercroft (baggage unit)
• This is a manual role; candidates will need to be physically fit and able to repetitively lift and move luggage up to 30KG in weight - It is important to know that there will be down time during your shift between arrivals or departures.
• This is a multi-skilled position where as the role progresses, candidates will be given the opportunity to upskill and to operate several different vehicles and items of machinery within the role, for example - mobile stair units for passenger boarding, buggies transporting passenger luggage and tug vehicles to help the aircraft prepare for take-off.
• Full training will be given
• Please note that the role takes place both indoor and outdoor and will experience all weather conditions.
• Full PPE will be provided.
• Full UK Driving License Required

• Day 1: 0500 till 1400
• Day 2: 0500 till 1400
• Day 3: 0500 till 1700
• Day 4: 1330 till 2230
• Day 5: 1330 till 2230

• Passport or Birth Certificate
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of (current) Address
• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
