Location: Welwyn Garden City
Contract: 8+ weeks
Hours: Average 40 hours per week over 6 days
Shift: 8am - 2pm / 1pm - 7 pm dependent on duty.
Rate: £15.71 p/h

About the role
This is a multi-duty position working 6 days a week with occasional Sundays.
You will be walking routes delivering letters and driving Royal Mail vans delivering parcels.
Training will be provided on the procedure for both letters and parcels. Flexibility will be key to succeeding in this role.
It is essential that you are comfortable walking routes to deliver letters as well as driving.
About You
Upbeat and self-motivated, you'll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round. You'll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
We deliver letter and parcels come rain or shine, so we're looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, you'll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit.
Some experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial.
Driving licence requirements
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.
