Description Working for the one to the newest public organisations with an exceptional range of projects which are world class, this is an exceptional place to work.Our client is looking for an Urban Designer to play a key role defining & delivering the urban design, design quality & integration deliverables of the infrastructure and associated public realm, surface transport & mitigation measures.Responsibilities Collaborate with Lead Urban Designers & Head of UDI in:

Defining and assuring the technical requirements and guidance related to urban design and integration as well as overseeing the delivery of those to the high quality and standard expected of the client.

Engagements with and in providing professional and technical advice to senior internal, supply chain and external stakeholders.

commissioning and steering of urban/context integration studies, workshops and related activities.
-
Managing aspects of the urban design and integration programme for certain sections or locations as allocated by the Lead Urban Designer and/or Head of UDI.
Skills/Experience
-
Creative Design Thinking - Ability to absorb, assess and provide advice on design approaches and solutions that address corporate design vision, standards and guidance.

Project Management Skills - Ability to coordinate and manage multiple work tasks.

Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Design, Architecture, Town Planning or equivalent work experience gained through engagement in projects

Knowledge of best practice in Urban Design and public realm design

Experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary teams on Urban Design
