Job Description
We are looking for individuals to join our team of imaging assistants in the Radiology Department at Prince Philip Hospital. This is a bank role and shifts will be offered as and when required.
The Radiology Department is a 24 hour service and we require staff for weekday/evening and weekends.
Radiology is an exciting department to work in. We have assistants working in all areas including CT scanner, MRI scanner, Ultrasound scanning and more.

This is a demanding job, which involves considerable contact with the public.
Duties include:
- Assisting the Radiographer/ Consultant Radiologist working in the area.
- To welcome patients and escort them to changing rooms.
- To assist patients to prepare for imaging procedures.
- To perform clerical duties.
- Supporting the radiographer and patients during and after imaging procedures.
- Cleaning and general hygiene tasks in the examination areas.
- Stocktaking of designated consumables.
- To transport patients and associated paperwork to and from Radiology.

- Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
