Typically we will offer 350 to 450 Lots at each of our Heavy Commercial Sales and 250 to 350 Lots at each of our Plant & Equipment Sales. We sell:

Plant & Equipment (Wheeled and Tracked)
We we looking for a Yard Operative for our busy HGV auction.
Full, UK driving licence required. Experience of working with HGV, vans and plant is desirable but full training will be given. Starting is £12.64 per hour rising to £12.85 per hour following a probationary period.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Uniform and PPE supplied. Please check location before apply, Sandtoft, DN9 1PN. The role will entail moving vehicles into position for auction days, unloading non-running vehicles, jump starting, serving customers with sold vehicles, whilst observing health and safety procedures at all times.
Reporting directly to the Yard Manager, you will be responsible to assist with the safe lining up of HGV’s, LCV’s, Plant and Equipment both pre and post-sale, loading and un-loading of plant and equipment. Other duties will include safely using boost equipment, general housekeeping and site maintenance. You will be working outside all year round in all kinds of weather conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience operating FLT’s and or a Telehandler would be beneficial, however, full training will be given. A basic understanding and interest of commercial vehicles, plant and equipment would also be a benefit. Excellent customer service, communication skills and a track-record of working safely, and helping others work safely too. You must hold a valid driving license and be prepared to assist with any off-site auctions if required.

We are in between Doncaster and Scunthorpe. Applicants must have a full driving licence and own transport.
Preferably applicants will have experience of working with vehicles.
Full training will be given to the right applicant.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
