As a Receptionist / Security Pass Operatives at HMNB Portsmouth , You'll be passionate about inter-communication and have our customers at heart of everything you do. What you’ll do:
- Process temporary ID passes for all visitors to Portsmouth naval base in a timely manner
- Manage the security application process from end to end, ensuring that all applications are completed correctly and processed in line with MoD requirements for all contractors and sub-contracts accessing the site
- Ensuring that the highest level of security is maintained at all times
- Being the first face, many will see, you’ll be an important role model when it comes to what great customer service will look like
- Connect visitors and customers with the appropriate party while following all visitor management processes
- Ensure delivery of 5-star customer service
- Support with induction management, work-place support, hospitality, and meeting room connectivity
- Communicate politely, always creating a memorable experience for our customers and visitors.
What you bring:
Excellent team ethos and superb communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure
Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but a can-do attitude and complete customer focus will tick the box

Package Description
- 37.5 hours per week
- £11.00 per hour
- 5 days out of 7
- Monday - Friday shifts between 6:00-18:00
- Saturdays - 7:00 - 12:00
- Full uniform supplied
- Full training provided
- Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
