An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to continued growth of a client in the renewable energy sector. I am currently recruiting for an Operational Service Manager to provide coverage across the UK. Ideally, this position would be working fully in the office, situated in Runcorn. Fully remote working is a possibility.The successful candidate will be tasked with leading and developing a team with previous service industry experience and a strong customer focus.The Operational Service Manager will report directly to the Head of Service. The Role: This is an office or home-based role. Monday to Friday and 40hrs per week. It requires someone with excellent communication skills, that is empathetic and can built a good rapport with the service engineers and customers. It also involves working very closely with the accounting and technical team of the service department.Duties include but are not limited to:

1:1 with service staff (engineers and office)

Developing/Maintaining bonus scheme for engineers

Developing/ Maintaining service contracts

Developing/ Maintaining new ERP system / Field Service

Managing and covering customer reporting
-
Identifying capacity gaps of engineers / equipment

Annual appraisals incl. bonus scheme

Managing and develop. service colleagues
-
Supporting accounts for internal reporting system

Identifying inefficiencies and develop solutions.

Support managing customer expectations.

Experience and Qualifications Essential:

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as an Operational Service Manager in the industry, or similar role.

Experience of working with reciprocating gas engines would be an advantage.

IT skills, fluent with Outlook, Excel, and Word. MS Project and Office 365 experience

Potentially some flexibility in working hours.
