Role: Debt Advisor
Location: Manchester
Salary: £27,000 increasing to £34,000
This is a remote role with the expectation of one day a week in their Trafford Park office at the start. The starting salary for this position is £27,000, which increases to £30,000 after probation, and continues to rise over time.

Responsibilities:
· Understanding customers' personal and financial circumstances and how they've arrived at their current situation.
· Complete an accurate financial statement using effective questioning techniques.
· Assess the full range of options available and make a suitable recommendation on an appropriate debt solution and budgeting that could support them to become debt-free and build financial resilience.
· Obtain necessary documentation such as proof of income and creditor reference numbers as appropriate.
Essential Criteria:
· At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
· Strong communication skills.
· The ability to be highly empathetic and build relationships.
· Experience communicating with customers over the phone.
· Degree level education.
