Salary: £23,025.60 per annum
Do you have the skills, flexibility and motivation to be part of College’s Portering & Security Team? Being part of our team would give you a variety of work and an opportunity to play your part in the College Community.
Hours: 40-hour week (average), working shifts Monday to Sunday. Three-core shifts (8.5 hours) are 0600-1430, 0930-1800 & 1400-2230 and will be on a pre-determined rota as arranged by the Portering and Security Manager and/or Head Porter.
Night Shifts: Portering and Security Officers work up to 11-night shifts per year to cover the annual leave of the Night Security Officers. When covering Night Security shifts a rate of £13.00 per hour will be paid for each hour worked between the hours of 8pm to 6:30am.
Portering and Security Officers undertake a variety of vital roles for College, setting up rooms for events, the day-to-day physical security of the site, minor emergency maintenance/repair tasks, initial first aid and for the coordination of security and fire alarms and services.
A full clean driving licence is required and experience of working in a school would be desirable.
