Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small team.
The successful applicant must be physically fit, have their own car and be able to drive. They must be able to work on their own initiative but it is essential that they can also work as part of the team. It is essential to have an interest in caring for dogs.
They will be working mainly in the kennel areas feeding and exercising the dogs. Cleaning the kennels, run area, beds and other areas, as required, is a main part of the job and is physically demanding.
The applicant may be required to deal with customers, handle money and be able to do some basic paperwork (training will be given).
Candidates may also be required to assist in the grooming parlour.
Hours of work -
Monday - Friday 8am - 6.30pm
Saturday & Sunday 8.00am - 12 noon and 3.30pm - 6.30pm
Candidates would typically work - week 1 - 3 x day shifts, week 2 - 2 x day shifts + weekend. Hours/days may vary due to business demands.
Candidates MUST be able to work the hours stated, starting and finishing times are not flexible. They must also be able to work bank holidays.
Candidates must live within a 15 mile distance.
