Grade W1 £10.52 per hour - zero hour contract
A little bit about us: Hull University Students Union is a Charity, with a large trading subsidiary; our primary purposes are:
- Advancement of education, promoting the interests and welfare of students during study and representing, supporting and advising students.
- Being the recognised representative channel between students and the University of Hull and other representative bodies.
- Providing social, cultural sporting, recreational activities, and forums for discussions and debate for the personal development of its students.
Our Trading Subsidiary provides a range of services for students including, a Supermarket, a pub, a nightclub, coffee and food outlets.

We have anopportunity to work as part of the Commercial Team working for Club Nights,Karaoke, Quiz, Bongos Bingo and Live Music Events. It's a fantastic way tolearn new skills, meet people and help provide an excellent service to yourfellow students!
Weare looking for students who have:-

Training will be provided and support giventhroughout your employment at HUSU and all PPE will be provided. Shifts will mainly be 3 - 4 hours during the day. Consideration will, of course, be givenfor availability & leave, however, you must be generally available to workevery week, during term time.
If you are honest, reliable, trustworthy, punctualand a great team player then you are exactly what we need to help provide thebest service for our students!
What will the job include?

Attend in-housetraining, courses and complete documentation, where required

Always adhere to allcompany policies, procedures, licensing laws

Adherence to all Health & Safety regulations

Be involved andcontribute to the team

Maintaina positive atmosphere amongst all staff & customers

Attend Staff Meetings, when required

Attend/complete training, when required

Setting up tables and benches as per required to layouts (heavy lifting involved).

Some occasional wiping down of the tables and benches
-
Must be flexible

Any other duties that may be reasonably required
