Location: Volkswagen Northallerton
Salary: £25,0000 + uncapped commission!
Hours: 46 hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6pm (Day off during the week) Saturday 10am - 4pm. 1 in 3 Sundays (rota).
Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton is recruiting an ambitious Car Sales Executive to join their hard-working and friendly team.
Specialising in both new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate Sales team to provide our Lookers first-class customer service. Ideally, we’re looking for a candidate who has experience working within a similar role.
This will be a great opportunity to be a true team player and deliver exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers.
Not only will you be joining one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, but you will also be reporting to Gary Oliver (Car Sales Manager) who will help impart your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.
Responsibilities:
Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers wants and needs.
This role will involve:

Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person

Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs

Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives

Negotiating the final price for the sale

Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, self-motivated to crack on with the job and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.
Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
