We are currently recruiting for nightshift security operatives for a motorway services site at A1, M Junction 46, Wetherby LS22 5GT
This is a nightshift only position covering a variety of days Monday to Sunday (shifts will be discussed at interview) between the hours of 22H00 and 06H00. 4 on 4 off There is also the possibility of overtime if available.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE: As the night security operative you will be required to deliver the security service standards required by both GroupNexus and the client. You will be required to conduct regular patrols of the site parking areas in order to detect and deter any crime in the area. You will also conduct patrols within the services complex and liaise with night staff and assist as necessary.
You will be required to contact the emergency services if required and report any crime to the relevant authority and area manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in line with company policies and security procedures
- Ensure high standards are achieved at all times, being flexible to meet the changing operational needs on a continual basis.
- Ensure all Incident and Defect Reports are completed and recorded accurately and passed to all relevant parties, following strict compliance to the Data Protection Act and associated regulations.
- Reporting of any incidents of crime to the police and forwarding details of any incidents to the area manager
NOTE

Requirements:
· You must have a valid SIA security /door supervisor badge and have a 5 year checkable work history (No exceptions).
· Have good communication skills both written and oral.
· Confidence in dealing with external emergency services as required.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and have good conflict resolution skills.
· Right to work in the UK.
