• Salary range - £29,600 - £43,600

• Contract type - 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover) starting in July 2023

About the role:

• The role is to primarily work with own brand Girlswear; Baby Girlswear SUN (Swimwear, Underwear, Nightwear); Anyday Girlswear and Baby layette SUN

• The role will also work closely with all print designers to build the seasonal TCP ( Trend Colour and Print Vision) to start the season for all product designers, you will work as a team to identify all key seasonal macro trends for fashion, colour and print directions. You will research and develop appropriate prints which best serve a direction for this overarching vision and, of course, the John Lewis Customer.

• Fulltime mix of remote and in office working hours

• Attending all meetings for designated areas.

• Keeping up to date on research for designated areas, from an aspirational and competitive POV

• Designing and circulating prints in an agreed way to insure productive ways of working.

• This experienced print designer will sit with the John Lewis in-house fashion print designers for all of Own brand products in Fashion.

Essential skills you’ll need:

• Adobe Creative suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop

• A good understanding of Google suite

• Good stakeholder management, working closely with buyers and product designers
