About the role:
Are you passionate about helping vulnerable adults and have experience of understanding their needs? If yes, we want to hear from you.
We have an exciting role within the Community Choices team where you’ll work to help create and maintain a supportive and safe environment, where older persons and adults with learning disabilities are supported to achieve maximum independence, freedom and choice.
This is an important role where you’ll be responsible for complete personal care (physical, emotional & social) according to individual needs, as assessed and highlighted in their Care & Support Plan.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience of understanding and dealing with the needs of vulnerable adults or children.
You’ll have the ability to care for a person’s physical, emotional and social needs in a way that promotes independence, choice and dignity.
We are looking for someone with the ability to contribute to assessments and support senior members of staff in administration of medication.
We do ask that you show willing to attend relevant courses and show commitment to personal development.
You’ll have the ability to travel round Luton and work flexibly across bases to meet the needs of the service.
Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.
