We are looking to recruit an Hourly Paid Counselling Lecturer who can use their knowledge to build on the achievements of our counselling students and join our professional team.

Details of the role

The successful candidate requires a highly motivated and flexible hourly paid Lecturer to become an integral part of our Counselling teaching team. You will initially teach on our Level 2 programme and be committed to assisting our adult learners achieve their true potential and exceeding their expectations.

This role requires an individual with exceptional communication and organisations skills.

Job requirements

The successful applicant should be an experienced qualified practitioner with a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or equivalent, and a minimum of 200 hours of clinical practice. You will need to currently be in clinical supervised practice. Previous experience of teaching counselling to adults at levels 2, 3 and 4, ideally with a recognised teaching qualification is desirable

It is essential that you have minimum Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.

This is an hourly paid role working under a sessional contract for up to 37 hours per week over 52 weeks

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 20 June 2023.
