T4 Tea for U is the most authentic and popular Taiwanese fresh brewed tea in the UK. T4 was founded in Taiwan in 2004 with the philosophy of connecting people through a cup of tea. The T4 concept originated in a warm greeting between people: “A cup of TEA FOR you.”
We have more than 12 stores in the UK and we continue to grow rapidly with more stores opening soon across the country. Our mission is to bring happiness to customers and their friends.
We achieve this through our delicious cups of the finest quality Taiwanese bubble tea. Our tea is prepared from the finest tea leaves – whole leaves, never tea bags or powder. We grow the tea ourselves, at precisely the right altitudes, at our tea fields in the beautiful hills and mountains of Taiwan.
In our shop, the focus on quality continues, with artisan tea prepared for you in small batches, with the temperature and other conditions carefully managed.
T4 represents quality, sharing and happiness. We are currently hiring for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Dalston and Harrow.
Job Responsibilities
Our baristas are responsible for making and serving T4 beverages to our customers, the core task may include but not limited to:
- Preparation of Teas and various other ingredients
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of dairy/sugar and ice ratios/toppings)
- Making the drinks following recipes
- Receive and process payments
- Keeping store clean ensuring proper hygiene at all times
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Passion for bubble tea (essential)
- Knowledge of bubble tea (desirable)
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment (advantageous)
- Flexibility to work various shifts (essential)
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills (essential)
- Team Player
- Solid customer service skills (essential)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations (desirable)

Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dalston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
