Service Coordinator
Salary: £27,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits and annual bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Location: Durham, DL17 9DT

What you'll be doing;
- Answering phone calls, dealing with customer queries and booking on jobs.
- Assisting the allocation of work to drivers and vehicles in WIMS.
- Debriefing all drivers on a daily basis, ensuring that all missed lifts are logged on salesforce and customers are informed.
- Ensure all work completed is validated on a daily basis.
- Ensure that one-trip work is performed in a logical sequence and that drivers are directed to the most advantageous disposal sites.
- Ensure that drivers daily defect books are fully completed.
- Ensure that working hours are recorded accurately and in accordance with the Union agreement.
- Ensure that all paperwork is made available to the drivers as required, including sales and delivery risk assessments for new sites.
- Maintaining and filing fleet compliance records, such as tacho charts and analysis reports.
- Uploading driver and vehicle data to the FTA vision portal.
What we're looking for;
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Transport industry knowledge.
- Routing experience with strong geographical knowledge.
- Ability and experience with management of drivers.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
