What you'll be doing:
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Car Parking Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- To carry out car park management duties, including traffic control, vehicle parking, infringement notices and assisting management to wheel clamp cars belonging to in-patients that they have left on the car park (wheel clamped for security reasons).
- Getting cares moved that are parked illegally
- Assisting security personnel (manning cameras, giving out keys and attending incidents when needed)
- Cash escorts with General Office when needed
- Emptying pay & display machines and transporting cash boxes from Whiston & St. Helens Hospital to the General Office
- Changing batteries and ticket rolls on pay & display machines
- Repairing machines where possible and reporting any faults that cannot be fixed to Facilities Management
- Recording finds received from the public and staff and hand in to General Office
- Recording the cash collection from pay & display machines
- Coning of parking areas for visitors and contractors
- Preserving good order on the car parks of the Trust, including the protection of visitors and staff cars from theft and damage
- To cover duties as reasonably required and depending on the availability to cover for sickness and holidays
- To maintain a correct log of the tour of duty and report in writing any incidents which occur
- Assisting the public who arrive at the hospital in an emergency to park their cars safely when possible
- Driving vehicle on site in order to empty car park machines
- The post holder must be flexible in duties performed
