YOUR ROLE

Our Operation in Hounslow is looking for a dynamic and accurate Airfreight Transport Clerk, where you will deliver an excellent operational administration and contribute to team success.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Operation Supervisor, you will manage and take responsibility for all transport bookings. You will actively manage all shipments and ensure pick up/delivery of the shipment at the destination.

You will be in charge of the transportation documents and ensure its compliance with regulations and internal procedures. You will ensure the costings of deliveries and collections are in line with tariffs and quotations.

You will build and maintain excellent relationship with internal and external customers. You will contribute to identifying any issues with supplier and propose solutions.

This is a Monday to Friday role - 13:00 - 22:00.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will come from Air or Transport environment and have a similar experience. You will be IT literate and able to use MS based programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.

You will need to be a highly organised team worker that shows initiative. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to tight timescales and to think on your feet and problem solve to provide workable solutions to customers.
