An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Packaging Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the packaging store area including monitoring all stock and equipment in accordance with company policies.
Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7am (NIGHTS)
Your key responsibilities will include:
- To undertake label printing via WLP2
- Responsible for the stock count, reconciling differences and counting stock on the lines
- Investigate Packaging waste and lost
- WLP2 label confirmations and designs
- Updating packaging KPI’s
- Checking closed jobs to ensure packaging is allocated correctly
What are we looking for?
- Experience of working in accordance with KPI’s
- Previous experience of working in the Fresh Produce industry or within the Food Industry (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and Flexible
- Attention to detail – numerically and logically
- Auditing skills
- MHE License
- BRC or Food Safety knowledge (desirable)
- Knowledge of PR2 or similar system (desirable)
- Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft (desirable)
