Job Title: Graduate Nutritionist

Salary: Range from £20-22k, depending on experience

Reporting into: Head of Nutrition and Food Development

Location: Brighton and Hove (working from within the Brighton & Hove Caterlink office, and within schools in the surrounding areas)

Overall Purpose of the Role: This role is to support the business around special dietary menus, deliver on-site training and audits on allergen management, and ensure compliance to the School Food Standards

Main Responsibilities:

• Support on the creation of special diet menus across the business, and with the administration of special diets such as spreadsheets
• Deliver on-site audits and produce feedback reports on the safe management of allergens within schools
• Deliver on-site training on special diets and the special diet process throughout the business
• Manage sensitive pupil allergy information and medical evidence in line with GDPR regulations
• Attend parent or school meetings regarding special diet provision online or in person where required

Essential Requirements:

• BSc degree in Nutrition or equivalent
• At least an Associate Registered Nutritionist (or PH) with the Association for Nutrition
• Experience in working with people with allergies and intolerances desirable
• Experience using nutritional analysis system such as Saffron
• Numeric and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, organised, presentable, efficient, and self-motivated
• A passion for keeping up to date with research and national health events
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to manage a busy diary independently
