The role
Joining our professional, personable team in our Aston Clinton practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going above and beyond your duties providing an exceptional service, putting patients and clients first, always.
You’ll bring your love of dogs and cats to work by joining the dedicated, passionate team who care for our patients and clients. You’ll help with the running of the kennels/catteries by cleaning, feeding and sharing your love and affection to our patients, checking their vaccinations, administering their medication if needed and generally looking after them as well as their owner.
You will share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in providing high standards of care, ensuring we live true to our purpose of providing exceptional care, that’s always there.
You will need to have some experience gained in a similar environment and be eager to learn more – as one of the largest and still growing veterinary family in the UK, we can offer lots of scope and support for career development.
Key accountabilities
Assist the Veterinary staff in day to day activities such as:
- Caring for animals, walking, cleaning, feeding etc
- Administer simple medical treatments under instruction and supervision
- Setting up equipment and materials for surgery’s and minor treatments
- Animal handling and restraint
- Maintaining Equipment and materials
- Caring for the clinical environment
- Cleaning following correct cleaning protocols
