We are looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician to join our community pharmacy in Leeds (LS28):
Salary: From £12.00 per hour
Contract length: Permanent
Hours: Rota based shift pattern across Monday – Sunday 07:00 – 23:00
Benefits include: 20% colleague discount, Death in Service benefit, Employee Assistance Programme, Paid registration fees As an Accuracy Checking Technician , you will quickly become an integral part of the team providing accurate checking of dispensed prescriptions in a service-driven business and assisting with the Pharmacy’s smooth operation . You will ideally have at least 3 Years experience in pharmacy, enjoy hitting targets whilst still maintaining attention to detail and be happy with a non-patient facing environment . You will also need to be a team player as some of you time will be given to supporting your colleagues.
As an Accuracy Checking Technician, we will be looking for you to respond to questions in a sensitive and professional manner whilst remaining welcoming and friendly to all customers. You will complete Accuracy Checking Technician checks to ensure company KPI’s are achieved, and patients’ medication is checked and dispatched against tight time scales. Our pharmacy supports on a wide range of services , including; Allergy Tests , Vaccination services, Blood pressure Monitoring, Ear, Nose and Throat ( ENT) Care and many other services … No two days will be the same, come join our great pharmacy community.
Accuracy Checking Technician Skills and Experience:
Must have gained an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Minimum 3 years experience in a pharmacy environment
Comfortable working with IT systems and experience working with Pharmacy software or systems
Fantastic attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to maintaining Professional and ethical standards
Familiar with technology-based service delivery is desirable
