Are you a passionate and driven Head Chef who is looking for a new challenge? Trenython Manor have a unique opportunity for a proven Head Chef to join during an exciting period of growth and development. The property boasts a combination of luxury bedrooms with self-catering lodges, spa and leisure facilities as well as a restaurant, bar and terrace and is located in stunning Cornwall with views overlooking the picturesque St. Austell Bay.
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to take ownership of this kitchen and develop a brigade. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business offering the opportunity to be creative, and work with local produce creating regular changing menus and function menus. The properties creativity and proven experience of delivering consistently excellent service to their guests creates a uniquely refreshing working environment.
As Head Chef, you will have demonstrable experience, strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead, coach and develop a busy kitchen brigade. You will have creativity and flair, a passion for working with fresh local produce, an excellent eye for detail, immaculate presentation standards alongside the ability to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Key to this role will be the ability to recruit, develop and manage a kitchen brigade with a focus on both quality and quantity. You will be responsible for managing costs in the kitchen, in particular those around food GP and working within manning parameters. Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy kitchen in line with current legislation will also be vital.

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
